Job summary

Raas Infotek is seeking an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Developer & Administrator responsible for designing and maintaining OCI solutions. The successful candidate will work on infrastructure automation, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance across cloud services. A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years' experience with cloud platforms are required.

• Hands-on experience with OCI services and cloud platforms.

Summary

The role is responsible for designing, deploying, automating, and maintaining OCI-based solutions that support enterprise-grade applications and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and OCI services, with a passion for innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient OCI infrastructure solutions.

• Develop using Terraform or Resource Manager for OCI.

• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and availability.

• Manage and support the following Oracle Cloud Infrastructure domains:

o Core Infrastructure: Compute, Networking (VCN, Load Balancer), and Storage (Block, Object, File).

o Security and Identity: IAM policies, compartments, encryption, and access control.

o Developer Services: OCI Functions, API Gateway, DevOps pipelines, and SDKs.

o Database Services: Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud Service, and Oracle Database Cloud.

o Monitoring and Observability: Logging, Metrics, Alarms, and Application Performance Monitoring.

o Governance and Administration: Budgets, Quotas, Tagging, and Resource Manager.

• Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure compliance and best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.

• Maintain documentation and provide training to internal teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager.

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.

• Hands-on experience with OCI services: Compute, VCN, Load Balancer, Object Storage, IAM, and Monitoring.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• OCI certifications (e.g., OCI Foundations, Architect Associate/Professional, DevOps Professional).

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OKE).

• Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud Service.

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
