We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (backend-focused) to join our tight-knit team. If you're proactive, collaborative, and love building legendary products, check out the details below—this might be the perfect role for you.

The base salary for this role is $115,000 - $150,000

What you’ll do:

1. Write, review, and maintain solid TypeScript + Node.js, working with MongoDB and MySQL databases
2. Develop, release, and maintain microservices for web and mobile applications
3. Collaborate with engineers and researchers to explore and integrate AI-driven solutions that enhance web and mobile application capabilities
4. Define and own key test metrics while advocating for best testing practices
5. Apply best practices and stay informed about emerging industry trends
6. Evaluate and recommend solutions, contributing to team decision-making processes
7. Demonstrate a strong understanding of modern web development tools, public cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, OCI), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline, CircleCI)
8. Collaborate within a cross-functional squad that includes disciplines like Design and Product Management
9. Participate in code reviews to improve coding standards and practices while delivering production-quality code
10. Display organizational skills to design, plan, prioritize, and drive technical projects to successful launch
11. Mentor team members, engage in pair programming, share insights, and support the growth of those around you

What you’ll need:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience (self-taught totally welcome!)
2. Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS, S3)
3. Experience with Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture (RabbitMQ, Kafka etc.), serverless Architecture
4. Experience with React/React Native
5. Prior experience with Ruby is a big plus
6. Strong experience in TDD and writing comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
7. Experience with Amazon Cdk is a plus
8. Proven track record of developing scalable products
9. Experience in building batch processing jobs and distributed systems for large-scale data processing
10. Strong problem-solving skills
11. A collaborative team player who is open to feedback, eager to learn, and confident in contributing ideas and expertise
12. A willingness to challenge the status quo constructively, with a determination to build exceptional software
