Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM/Payroll Functional Lead to provide production support for Oracle Cloud Payroll, Absence Management and Core HR in a Canadian, remote setting. You will work with payroll and HR operations, analyze incidents, perform root cause analysis and drive minor enhancements while aligning with SLAs and quarterly cloud updates.

The role requires strong client-facing communication and 8+ years of Oracle Cloud HCM experience to deliver stable, scalable payroll

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience implementing and/or supporting Oracle Cloud HCM.
• Strong functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll (U.S. Payroll) Absence Management Core HR.
• 8+ years in production support or AMS for Oracle Cloud HCM applications.
• Experience supporting payroll with weekly and semi-monthly payroll schedules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional owner and SME for Oracle Cloud Payroll, Absence Management, and Core HR production support activities.
• Provide day-to-day functional support for Oracle Cloud HCM applications; ensure timely incident resolution.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve production issues impacting payroll and HR operations.
• Support weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles; identify and resolve system/configuration issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Implement minor enhancements and configuration changes; coordinate testing.
• Collaborate with payroll, HR, benefits and IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Participate in defect triage, prioritization, testing and deployment.
• Document solutions and support processes to improve efficiency.
• Monitor tickets and ensure SLA adherence.
• Guide and mentor junior support team members as needed.
