Job summary

Fraser Health is seeking casual Registered Nurses to join the Langley Memorial Hospital’s Operating Room team. You will provide direct patient care on the OR unit and rotate through specialty areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing with current RN registration.
• Willingness to complete applicable post-graduate specialty courses.
• Current BCLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect data for nursing diagnosis and care plans.
• Collaborate with families to develop and modify care plans.
• Coordinate care, delegate tasks, and involve the interprofessional team.
• Teach patients and families about illness prevention and self-care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes per Fraser Health standards.
• Participate in care conferences, committees, and quality initiatives.
