Job summary

Mazergroup Ltd. is seeking an Optimization Specialist to serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers and the sales team maximize equipment performance through expert setup, optimization, training, and operational support.

You will identify optimization needs and perform on-site visits to implement solutions. The role requires agriculture-related experience, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 required; Precision Agriculture certificate or related certificate/diploma asset.
• 2+ years in an agriculture-related role preferred.
• Demonstrated sales experience and advanced agricultural technology knowledge.
• Proficiency with information systems and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze optimization needs of customers' machinery and provide solutions.
• Perform machine optimization visits with settings and adjustments.
• Provide training and support on proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of agricultural equipment.
• Communicate with RSM about scheduling and completion of jobs for the Sales Team.
• Train internal staff on new products and technology.
• Assist in off-season equipment training for the Sales team.
• Assist in customer equipment clinics.
• Collaborate with the Precision Technology Department to complete jobs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Optimization Specialists serve as trusted technical advisors, helping customers and sales teams maximize equipment performance through expert setup, optimization, training, and operational support.

• Identify and analyze specific optimization needs of customers machinery and provide a solution
• Perform machine optimization visits to customers and including instructions on settings and adjustments
• Provide training and support to customers on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of agricultural equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation
• Effectively communicate with your RSM regarding the scheduling and completion of jobs required by the Sales Team
• Train internal staff on new products and technology
• Assist in off-season equipment training for the Sales team
• Assist in customer equipment clinics
• Working with the Precision Technology Department, to assist in completing jobs at

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO US?

• Minimum Grade 12 required, Precision Agriculture certificate, Agriculture Technology Integration Post-Diploma or related certificate or diploma an asset
• 2+ years' experience working in an agriculture related role would be an asset
• Demonstrated sales experience and advanced agricultural technology knowledge
• Proficiency with information systems and computer literacy
• Experienced in customer service and effective communication skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office and typing skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract is required
