Job summary

iA Financial Group is seeking an Optimization and Efficiency Advisor to lead process improvement efforts across the organization. You will diagnose processes, design and run Kaizen workshops, and guide teams in implementing sustainable efficiency gains.

The role requires strong Lean knowledge, a Green Belt, and excellent collaboration with stakeholders across Canada. A hybrid work environment is available to balance office and remote work.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in process optimization within a complex environment.
• Green Belt certification (Lean Six Sigma) required.
• In-depth knowledge of Lean principles and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments of processes to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans.
• Design, prepare, and facilitate optimization workshops (Kaizen, problem-solving) with iA Group units.
• Support managers and teams in deploying continuous improvement activities until benefits are realized.
• Contribute to process mapping using Lean principles and best practices.
• Quantify financial and non-financial gains and ensure proper follow-up.

What you will accomplish with us

As an Optimization and Efficiency Advisor, you will be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting diagnostic assessments of processes to identify areas for improvement and developing action plans based on findings

• Designing, preparing, and facilitating optimization workshops (Kaizen, problem-solving) with iA Group organizational units

• Supporting managers and their teams in deploying continuous improvement activities until benefits are realized

• Contributing to process mapping according to best practices and Lean principles

• Determining financial and non-financial gains from optimization activities and ensuring proper follow-up

We are looking for someone who:

• Has 3 to 7 years of experience in process optimization within a complex environment and holds a Green Belt certification

• Is recognized for in-depth knowledge of Lean principles and tools

• Stands out for strong analytical skills, ability to solve complex problems, and results-oriented mindset

• Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and a collaborative spirit

• Is known for the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with various stakeholders

• Has an advanced level of English proficiency, as the role involves weekly email and videoconference exchanges with teams across Canada, including both French-speaking and English-only business lines
