Job summary

The role may involve Surfacing, Edging, coating, or other production areas based on demand, with a focus on continuous improvement and teamwork in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or laboratory operations.
• Strong coaching and communication skills; able to plan and solve problems.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and production requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production/reporting systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations to meet service, productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency targets.
• Plan and manage workflow, staffing, schedules, resources, and production priorities.
• Monitor productivity, quality, yield, and process performance; resolve issues and escalate risks.
• Ensure employees follow work instructions, quality standards, safety procedures, PPE, and policies.
• Maintain floor presence to guide operations and address issues.
• Lead, coach, train, and evaluate employees; provide feedback and address concerns.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development; maintain competencies.
• Manage schedules, attendance, vacation, time records, and timesheet approvals.
• Investigate issues and implement corrective actions; drive improvements.
• Coordinate maintenance, calibration, and follow-up of equipment and processes.
• Support ISO 13485 audits and applicable quality/safety requirements.
