Job summary

R360 Environmental Solutions Canada is seeking a full-time on-site Power Engineer Operator in Fort St. John, BC. You will monitor, adjust, and optimize plant equipment ensuring safe, compliant operations and efficient performance.

Responsibilities include inspections, data recording, troubleshooting, and adhering to safety/environmental regulations; you’ll work with maintenance and operations teams across shifts, contributing to a clean, well-organized site.

Qualifications

  • Valid 4th or 5th Class Power Engineer certificate in good standing.
  • Experience operating industrial or processing plant equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety practices, hazard identification, and regulatory compliance in a plant or field environment.
  • Ability to read gauges, process flow diagrams, and operating procedures, and accurately record data.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with routine equipment checks and minor troubleshooting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively across shifts.
  • Comfort working in outdoor and industrial environments, including varying weather conditions and physical tasks such as climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work a consistent full-time schedule, including potential evenings, weekends, or shift work as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in power engineering or industrial operations is an asset.
  • Previous experience in Fort St John, BC or familiarity with regional industrial operations is beneficial.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Operator role for 4th or 5th Class Power Engineers located in Fort St John, BC.
