The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking a Wastewater Facility Operator to ensure efficient operation of its wastewater treatment assets. The role requires hands-on inspection, monitoring, and minor maintenance across CGS facilities, with a focus on safety and compliance.
Successful candidates will hold required Ontario wastewater certificates and have at least 1 year of related experience, plus be able to work on a seven-day, 24-hour shift if needed. Training and tours may be part of duties.

This job is also being posted as a development opportunity. Should there be no fully qualified candidate for this position, a candidate who can be expected to meet the required qualifications within a reasonable period of time may be considered for this position as a development opportunity. Development opportunity range of pay: $33.01 to $37.34 per hour. The successful candidate will be paid at the reduced rate until the minimum qualifications have been met.
