Strathmore Landscape Contractors in Gatineau, QC is seeking a Snow Removal Equipment Operator - Class 5 for a seasonal role covering Ottawa Central, Nepean, and Barrhaven. Duties include operating snow plows and loaders, inspecting equipment, and following site instructions.

Requires 2 years of commercial driving and a valid Class 5 licence with a clean SAAQ record. Candidates must have reliable transportation to sites, availability for nights and weekends, and a safety-focused mindset.

Formación

• Two years of commercial vehicle driving experience.
• Valid Class 5 license with a clean SAAQ driving record.
• Reliable transportation to LaSalle or assigned sites (nights/weekends).
• Availability for snow events and shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Locations: Ottawa Central, Nepean & Barrhaven | Seasonal

WHAT YOU GET

• Fixed seasonal pay based on your experience and equipment qualifications.

THE JOB

• Operate snow plowing and snow removal equipment safely
• Safely operate large wheel loaders and heavy snow-removal equipment
• Operate equipment with snow pushers, buckets, blades, and other approved attachments
• Inspect your equipment and report any issues
• Follow site instructions and communicate with your team.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 2 years of commercial vehicle driving experience required; experience in snow removal or operating small or heavy equipment is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 licence and clean SAAQ driving record.
• Reliable transportation to LaSalle or assigned sites (including nights and weekends)
• Reliability and a commitment to safety.
• Availability for snow events and assigned shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Hours vary with weather and operational needs; no predetermined number of hours is attached to seasonal pay. Applicable minimum wage and overtime adjustments are based on actual hours worked.
