City of Vancouver is seeking an Operations Worker II for the Leaf Program within Sanitation Services. The role involves cleaning streets and parks, collecting litter and managing leaf operations on assigned maps, with day shifts during late summer and the leaf season.

Sanitation Operations, Street Cleaning helps keep our City clean and involves collection of litter, debris and abandoned waste from Parks/City streets and laneways. Operations Workers may also be assigned to other Sanitation Branch specific work.
The Sanitation Operations Branch functions 365 days/year and applicants who are interested in continuing employment in the branch after the Leaf Collection Program must be willing and able to work shifts that may include days, afternoons and overnights with the expectation to work weekends. Successful candidates may be required to adjust shifts as operationally required and in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
Successful applicants' availability must meet Branch expectations in order to continue employment with the Branch. Functional and/or physical assessments related to the bona fide position requirements may be required.
