JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting the leadership team in overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring all customer orders are shipped in a timely manner.

Shift : Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Train and mentor team members throughout the facility in the areas of productivity, quality, safety and Company Core Values
  • Delegate task & support in execution - support team where necessary to complete the task
  • Support in creating process and ensuring team members are following process
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics to Supervisor
  • Assist in maintaining a safe work environment for DC team members ( retrain team members and build a safety culture through team meetings and activities) to enhance safety awareness
  • Ensure timely and accurate order receipt and shipment; responsible for maintaining cut off time
  • As a member of the DC leadership team this position is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy
  • Perform stock counts, stock maintenance and inventory count reconciliation
  • Assist with picking, checks, loads and processes inbound and outbound product
  • Effectively communicate with site leadership regarding daily operations

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong listening and problem resolution skills; strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with dedication to meeting deadlines
  • The ability to operate material handling equipment - licensed with any one of the following forklifts

Raymond Reach, Order (Cherry) Picker (not limited to motorized forklifts) and lift up to 50 lbs in weight

  • High sense of urgency and customer service
  • Previous SAP experience considered an asset
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
