Overview

The Operations Support Specialist is an entry-level position providing operational support to customer and carrier account managers. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries promptly and courteously, proactively providing track and trace services, and following standard operating procedures to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

1. Data entry: entering orders, carrier vetting, and proof of delivery requests.
2. Verification: verifying shipment details, troubleshooting issues, and escalating when necessary.
3. Appointments: setting and modifying pick-up/delivery appointments and notifying all parties.
4. Order Tracking: monitoring shipments, updating systems, and communicating with carriers and managers.
5. Additional Responsibilities: cross-training and other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college diploma preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in logistics or customer service preferred.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn MS Office, Accellos, Cargo Wise, ITrade, TMW.
• Strong data entry, customer service, troubleshooting, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and French preferred.
• Availability for irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
