Job summary

The Lazy Gourmet is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Production & Special Projects to work closely with the Director of Operations and uphold Compass Group standards across the Operations department. Responsibilities

• Update and follow up with associate online training completion on 24/7 targeting 90%.
• Monitors sign off sheets across the operations department to ensure accountability and accuracy.
• Provide suggestions on bridging gaps between Operations, Sales and clients.
• Contributes ideas on improving department procedures and processes.
• Support contract locations via inputting menus, onsite support or similar.
• Supports specialty large scale events in organizing and execution.
• Adheres to Compass health and safety procedures and guidelines and helps enforce these throughout the department.
• Build knowledge of The Lazy Gourmet’s systems, processes, clients and operational standards to become a resource for the broader Operations team.
• Report to Operations Manager and the Director of Operations.

Job description

The Operations Supervisor – Production & Special Projects works closely with the Director of Operations to support the overall effectiveness of The Lazy Gourmet’s Operations department. This role requires a strong knowledge of The Lazy Gourmet and Compass Group standards, procedures and operations, as well as a working knowledge of all areas of the Operations department.

The role acts as a flexible resource across Operations, taking charge of ongoing and temporary projects requiring attention to detail, planning, organization and follow-through. Projects may focus on operational improvements and efficiencies, special events, or other priorities that strengthen consistency and accountability. The role will also support offsite contracts as needed.

Position Responsibilities:
