Job summary

The Seaboard Transport Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor to coordinate driver operations with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service. The role includes supporting the driver coordination team, training new staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Location options include St. John's or Corner Brook, NL, with open to other sites for the right candidate. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule, with after-hours responsibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is an asset.
• 3–5 years of experience in dispatch, transportation coordination, or logistics, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Proficiency with TMW or similar transportation management systems.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of safety, service, and process discipline.
• Report safety incidents promptly to management and support HSE programs.
• Provide driver, operations, and site support; travel cross-island as needed.
• Train and support new team members and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Respond to escalated customer complaints and maintain professional communication.
