Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly in Canada is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory, while enforcing Health & Safety and SOPs. The role is based in a fast-paced warehouse environment with Friday to Monday shifts and direct oversight of drivers and warehouse staff.

You will coordinate route plans, maintain logs and daily reports, and ensure high service standards for customers. Previous leadership in logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
• Operations and Logistics: Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, and inventory management; generate route plans and coordinate with the Optimization team.
• Reporting and Administration: Maintain delivery, incident, and inventory logs; complete daily reports for clients and managers.
• Team leadership and Customer service: Assign tasks, monitor productivity, coach staff, handle delivery issues, and uphold SOPs.

Core Duties

• Safety and Compliance Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment Enforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team. Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks. Supervise warehouse traffic, van audits and ensure safe vehicle movements. Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization. Respond to emergencies as required.
• Cleaning, general housekeeping
• Operations and Logistics Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, and inventory management. and package dispatching process. Conduct quality checkups on return pickups and return to the client process. Create/confirm driver bookings with relevant BPs. Generate the next day’s route plan and send optimization emails to the Optimization team. Conduct IDCs/Drivers check in/ out, loading Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests. Assist with sorting, scanning, and processing packages (including defective items and returns).
• Reporting and Administration Maintain accurate delivery, incident, and inventory logs, and submit comprehensive daily reports. Complete daily reports and submit to the clients, Station team and Manager (AMZ Daily Case report, Shift Handover, etc.). Audit Proof of Delivery (POD) reports and report back on compliance to IDC liaison Complete daily timesheets and submit to the Station Manager. Perform data entry as needed.
• Team leadership and Customer service Assign daily tasks to staff, monitor productivity, and ensure compliance with SOPs Prepare and monitor performance reports (on-time deliveries, exceptions, etc.). Provide coaching, support, and training to drivers and warehouse staff, including onboarding of new hires. Address delivery complaints, damages, or lost packages promptly. Ensure high service standards and customer satisfaction. Evaluate and assess employee performance, workplace conduct and compliance as required, including discipline where appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned
