Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly in Canada seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll manage shipping, receiving, inventory, and dispatching while upholding SOPs and driving service standards.

You will supervise drivers and warehouse staff, coordinate bookings, plan routes, and ensure accurate data entry and reporting to support reliable last-mile service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
• Enforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team.
• Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks.
• Supervise warehouse traffic, van audits and ensure safe vehicle movements.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Respond to emergencies as required.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching and inventory management.
• Manage package dispatching process and return checks.
• Create/confirm driver bookings with business partners.
• Generate next-day route plans and send optimization emails to the team.
• Perform driver check-ins/outs and loading/unloading activities.
• Verify freight against manifests and sort/scan packages including returns.
• Assign tasks, monitor productivity and ensure SOP compliance.
• Prepare performance reports and coach staff, including onboarding.

Core Duties :

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
• Enforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team.
• Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks.
• Supervise warehouse traffic, van audits and ensure safe vehicle movements.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Respond to emergencies as required.
• Cleaning, general housekeeping

Operations and Logistics

• Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, and inventory management.
• and package dispatching process.
• Conduct quality checkups on return pickups and return to the client process.
• Create/confirm driver bookings with relevant BPs.
• Generate the next day's route plan and send optimization emails to the Optimization team.
• Conduct IDCs/Drivers check in/ out, loading
• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
• Assist with sorting, scanning, and processing packages (including defective items and returns).

Reporting and Administration

• Maintain accurate delivery, incident, and inventory logs, and submit comprehensive daily reports.
• Complete daily reports and submit to the clients, Station team and Manager (AMZ Daily Case report, Shift Handover, etc.).
• Audit Proof of Delivery (POD) reports and report back on compliance to IDC liaison
• Complete daily timesheets and submit to the Station Manager.
• Perform data entry as needed.

Team leadership and Customer service

• Assign daily tasks to staff, monitor productivity, and ensure compliance with SOPs
• Prepare and monitor performance reports (on-time deliveries, exceptions, etc.).
• Provide coaching, support, and training to drivers and warehouse staff, including onboarding of new hires.
• Address delivery complaints, damages, or lost packages promptly.
• Ensure high service standards and customer satisfaction.
• Evaluate and assess employee performance, workplace conduct and compliance as required, including discipline where appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned
