Job summary

Everything Wine Inc is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a dynamic retail team in North Vancouver or Langley. You will place and track orders, manage Liquor Board reports, handle special orders, and collaborate with the leadership team to grow store traffic and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years in retail or customer service, leadership experience, and knowledge of wine and beverage operations. Training and tastings are provided, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years retail or customer service experience required.
• WSET Level 2 or equivalent knowledge is a plus.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience is an asset.
• Experience coaching/mentoring a team and inventory management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Place and receive orders and manage Liquor Board Distribution reports.
• Handle special orders, stock issues, contact customers, arrange payment and delivery.
• Submit new product items and participate in quarterly cycle counts.
• Manage inventory for events, tastings, and training; oversee back stock.
• Identify opportunities to expand customer base and increase store traffic.
• Lead by example and provide coaching to the team.
• Maintain open communication with leadership.

Position Title: Operations Supervisor
Reports to: Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager

All applicants must be 19+

A day in the life:

• Place and receive orders, manage all Liquor Board Distribution reports and any issues that arise with ordering, receiving and deliveries
• Manage special orders, stock out issues, contacting customers, arranging payment and delivery
• Submit new product items
• Work in conjunction with other supervisors to ensure regular cycle counting each quarter
• Manage inventory for events, samples, tasting bar and training to ensure all inventory is accounted for
• Back stock inventory management
• Be mindful of customer and industry trends in order to identify opportunities to expand customer base and increase store traffic
• Lead by example at all times
• Participate in consistent coaching and mentoring of your team
• Maintain open communication with the Leadership team
