Beyond Energy Services & Technology is seeking a Shop Technician Level 1 to enhance facility and equipment maintenance efficiency. The role involves daily site documentation, safety participation, and assisting in inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of RCD equipment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a shop setting, are mechanically inclined, and hold valid licenses/certifications (First Aid, Fall arrest, Forklift).

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a shop environment.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to apply mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
• First Aid certification.
• Fall arrest certification.
• Forklift certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Knowledge of maintenance processes, tools, and equipment.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Organized, dependable and action-oriented.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain the upkeep of the facility and yard.
• Utilize SiteDocs daily to complete required forms.
• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in inspection, repair, and maintenance of all RCD equipment.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance and repairs of RCD equipment.
• Assist in shipping and receiving of MPD/RCD equipment.
• Assist in receiving on orders from vendors.
• Deliver and/or pick up supplies from vendors.
• Inspect all RCD equipment and perform preventive maintenance checks and service.
• Maintain company issued tools and develop knowledge and skill in their use.
• Assist Shop Foreman with day-to-day tasks as required.
• Assist Operations team with RCD equipment maintenance as required.

Job Description

As the Shop Technician Level 1 you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our facility and equipment maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain the upkeep of the facility and yard.
• Utilizing SiteDocs daily to complete all required forms
• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of all RCD related equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance and repairs of RCD equipment
• Assist in the shipping and receiving of MPD/RCD equipment.
• Assist in Receiving on orders from vendors
• Deliver and/or pick up supplies from vendors.
• Inspect all RCD equipment used and perform preventive maintenance checks and service.
• Maintain company issued tools and develop knowledge and skill in their use.
• Assist Shop Foreman with day-to‑day tasks as required.
• Assist Operations team with RCD equipment maintenance as required.

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a shop environment.
• Mechanically inclined and able to implement mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Required Certifications:
• Valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract
• First Aid
• Fall arrest
• Forklift
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance processes and procedures, mechanical tools and equipment
• Able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines requiring minimal supervision.
• Organized, dependable and action orientated.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
