Job summary

Jobtailor in Montreal, Canada seeks an experienced project management professional to lead execution readiness across multiple disciplines. You will drive readiness plans, schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation while coordinating with Safety, Planning, Logistics, and Construction teams.

The role requires 4+ years of PM experience and a strong command of budgeting, contracts, and MS Office. Travel up to 25% within Canada and occasionally to the United States is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of project management or related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contract implementation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% across Canada and to the United States.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and project stakeholders to ensure material and component readiness.
  • Provide operational and project management support to projects in execution.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to project planning and execution.
  • Promote safety standards, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 4 years of project management or related experience
  • Knowledge of the full lifecycle of large-scale projects
  • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contract implementation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 25% throughout Canada and occasionally to the United States
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada; sponsorship is not available
  • Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility to travel internationally, including to the United States
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the corporate auto insurance policy
  • Commitment to safety protocols, regulations, and company policies
  • Speak and understand English fluently; French language skills are considered an asset
