Job summary

Linde plc in Delta, BC is seeking an Operations & Productivity Specialist to lead cross-functional productivity initiatives across Canada. You will manage projects from concept to implementation, analyze data, build business cases, and support continuous improvement in our Packaged Gas operations.

The role requires 3+ years in business analysis, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and experience with BI tools. Travel within Canada may be required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing business cases, conducting business analysis, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain operations is ideal.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets; ability to derive actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to present findings to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with BI/tools such as Power BI or Tableau; knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Agile methods, or project management is helpful.
• French language skills are an asset for broader collaboration.

This role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Engineering, and Finance teams to lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance productivity, support new product development, and drive continuous improvement across Linde's operations in Canada. The successful candidate will manage projects from concept through implementation, collaborate with stakeholders at multiple locations, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, optimize processes, and deliver measurable business results. Through strong project management, analytical, and relationship-building skills, this position plays a key role in supporting strategic objectives and long-term business growth.

• The role includes serving as a key resource for Safety Critical Commodities, supporting purchasing activities and managing approved purchasing responsibilities within established authority limits
• You will develop, review, and implement supply chain procedures, with a particular focus on supporting process improvements and system implementations such as TrackAbout
• Supporting cylinder and asset management activities will be an important part of the role, including participating in physical audits, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate asset records
• You will promote data-driven decisions related to cylinder and tank optimization, helping improve asset utilization and operational effectiveness
• The position provides ongoing support and guidance to the Packaged Gas business regarding asset management and Safety Critical Commodity applications and purchasing processes
• You will develop and monitor data quality metrics, support digital model development, and contribute to productivity tracking and reporting to ensure business decisions are supported by accurate and reliable information

• The role requires someone who is comfortable learning new technologies and applying digital solutions to improve productivity, processes, and operational performance
• Experience with investment analysis, statistical methods, KPI development, and performance measurement would be considered strong assets
• Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms will help support reporting and analytics initiatives
• Knowledge of SQL, Lean Six Sigma, Agile methodologies, or project management practices is considered an asset and will support continuous improvement efforts
• French language skills are an asset and can help support collaboration across a broader range of stakeholders and locations

This is an existing position with an annual starting salary of $85,000.
