Our client, a confidential industry leader in manufacturing, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Orillia, Ontario. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving operational excellence.

Location: Orillia, ON
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000–$95,000 annually + comprehensive benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday (40 hours/week, occasional flexibility required)

What You’ll Do
  • Lead day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all departments.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and KPIs to optimize workflows and maintain quality standards.
  • Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and procurement to align with company objectives.
  • Provide strong leadership—recruit, train, and mentor staff while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and automation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, mitigating risks proactively.
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and execution of business goals.
  • Manage supply chain activities from raw material sourcing to final delivery.
What We’re Looking For
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of finance, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Global Shop or similar is an asset).
  • Knowledge of OHSA and ability to lead compliance initiatives.
  • Experience with KPI development, change control, and continuous improvement programs.
