Rentokil Terminix is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager in Halifax, NS to lead and develop a team of service technicians while driving revenue growth and client satisfaction. The role involves occasional inter-provincial travel to support regional coverage.

You will mentor staff, ensure outstanding service, and partner with sales to grow the business, while managing daily operations and reporting on performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a management role with emphasis in customer service.
• Pest control management experience required.
• Must pass pre-employment background screen.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle record search.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by regulations.

• Oversee basic financial performance including revenue growth and expense control
• Travel within territory to meet clients and support sales/biz dev

Rentokil-Terminix is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager in Halifax, NS to expand the existing team. The Halifax Branch is experiencing exciting growth, to support the continued expansion of our operations in Nova Scotia, we are seeking an experienced professional to join our operations management team. This position requires occasional inter-provincial travel to support broader regional coverage. Operations Manager will be responsible for training, leading and developing a team of service technicians. They will help achieve sales and revenue goals, client loyalty and retention, as well as ensure the team is providing exceptional service to our clients. Additional management duties include :

• Manage daily operations of pest control technicians with the goal of providing superior customer service to our clients
• Offer direction to staff in all aspects of operations, service and client care
• Responsible for managing basic financial performance of the operations, including revenue growth and expense control
• Daily travel throughout territory visiting with clients, assisting pest technicians, and partnering closely with the sales team on business development
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekend work when needed
• Submit weekly, monthly and yearly reports, as required
• Monitoring and adjusting scheduled appointments for efficiencies, field routing, client Quality Control audits, and account management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
• 3-5 years in a management role with emphasis in customer service
• Pest control management experience required
• Success in training, mentoring and coaching service professionals
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in a route-oriented, service environment a plus
• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, provincial and local regulations
• Must pass pre-employment background screen
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle record search
