Job summary

TF Truckload & Logistics, part of the TF Energy Solutions Group, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily trucking, yard, and warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement and storage of materials.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of pipe transportation and over-dimensional loads, and experience with TMS/ELDs and warehouse systems. You will drive KPI improvements and collaborate across Safety, HR, Maintenance, and Accounting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in trucking, transportation, yard, or warehouse operations is required
• Experience with pipe transportation and/or over-dimensional loads is required
• General warehousing experience is required
• Proven leadership experience managing operational teams
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, fleet operations, and safety compliance
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), electronic logging devices (ELDs), and warehouse or inventory management systems
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience managing operational budgets and performance targets
• Knowledge of SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) is considered an asset

• Coordinate equipment maintenance and operational readiness
• Resolve operational challenges and customer service escalations
• Monitor operational KPIs, including on-time performance, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost control
• Collaborate with Safety, HR, Maintenance, and Accounting to support business objectives
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, processes, and service delivery
