Job summary

JLL in Port Moody, BC is seeking a Maintenance Operations Supervisor to oversee contract service requests and preventative maintenance across client spaces. You will direct work to minimize disruption and ensure cleanup, coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance operations, supervisory experience, and relevant trade certification or engineering degree as asset; you must be able to analyze systems, run Word/Excel, and be available for call-in work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance operations experience in an industrial environment.
• Supervisory and contract or management experience.
• Certified Electrician, HVAC technician or other trade or an engineering degree is an asset.
• Ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.
• Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
• Must be available for Call-in work and perform other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and/or directs the performance of all contract service requests, ensuring that work performed in these areas is accomplished efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption and inconvenience.
• Supervises and implements the preventative maintenance program.
• Ensure that work performed in client space is accomplished with a minimum of disruption and is followed by adequate cleanup
• Perform/supervise maintenance, monitoring repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned
• Review monthly client service request summaries to pinpoint and correct recurrent operational problems
• Evaluate vendors and suppliers on a regular basis with regard to quality and competitive pricing
• Prepare and submit Work Orders
• Work with the client to approve and schedule tasks/projects
• Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory
• Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors
• Perform additional job duties as requested

Estimated compensation for this position:

85,000.00 – 100,000.00 CAD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
