Core Purpose and Essence of the Position

The Operations Account Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for the account, ensuring seamless execution of logistics, warehousing, and distribution services. This role requires a high level of customer relations management, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to meet client expectations. The position's schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., on-site in Rocky View, AB.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
  • Act as the main liaison between DSV and the global beauty retailer, ensuring clear communication and alignment on logistics operations.
  • Provide proactive updates and reporting on shipments, inventory, and order fulfillment.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries, concerns, and operational issues in a timely manner.
Operational Execution
  • Oversee daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and order processing.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient handling, packaging, and distribution of beauty products.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and client expectations.
Process Improvement & Compliance
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and client-specific requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate and analyze reports related to inventory levels, shipping performance, and order accuracy.
  • Track and report key metrics to internal stakeholders and the client.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize supply chain performance.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 1-3 years in logistics, account management, or supply chain coordination (experience in beauty, retail, or consumer goods is a plus).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal teams and external clients.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
