The Operations Account Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for the account, ensuring seamless execution of logistics, warehousing, and distribution services. This role requires a high level of customer relations management, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to meet client expectations. The position is based on-site in Rocky View, AB, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the main liaison between DSV and the global beauty retailer, ensuring clear communication and alignment on logistics operations.
- Provide proactive updates and reporting on shipments, inventory, and order fulfillment.
- Address and resolve client inquiries, concerns, and operational issues promptly.
Operational Execution
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and order processing.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient handling, packaging, and distribution of beauty products.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and client expectations.
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and client-specific requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate and analyze reports related to inventory levels, shipping performance, and order accuracy.
- Track and report key metrics to internal stakeholders and the client.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize supply chain performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 1-3 years in logistics, account management, or supply chain coordination (experience in beauty, retail, or consumer goods is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or transportation management systems (TMS).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external clients.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
