Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) is inviting motivated students to join as an Operations Intern in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. This paid, four‑month internship offers hands-on exposure to grain handling, logistics, and crop inputs, with mentorship from experienced professionals across multiple divisions.

You will participate in field scouting, sample testing, and customer service while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Agriculture, Food Science, Environmental Science, Mechanical Techniques, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in agriculture industry and practices.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Full-time availability for a 4-month term, Apr - Aug.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with grain handling and sorting, including supporting truck loading activities and conducting sample testing.
• Handling and delivering crop input products.
• Field and crop scouting duties as required.
• Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping.
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
• Performing exceptional customer service duties.
