Job summary

Watson Building Supplies is seeking a motivated Forklift Operator in Vaughan, Ontario to safely prepare and move building materials in our warehouse. You will operate a propane forklift, load orders, and maintain accurate inventory while supporting a fast-paced team.

The role requires a valid propane forklift certification, at least two years of experience, good communication and basic math skills. We offer health benefits, retirement savings, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of lift trucks and complete required forms.
• Ensure lift truck maintenance and servicing requirements are met.

• Load and unload building materials in a safe and efficient manner.
• Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials.
• Ensure that all products are shipped on schedule and according to specific instructions by management to meet customer demands.
• Maintain contact with supervisors and work to resolve issues as they arise.
• Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
• Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

The Forklift Operator prepares loads and unloads building materials in the warehouse through the safe operation of a lift truck. Together with other team members, the Forklift Operator works to exceed customer expectations.
