Job summary

Linde plc is seeking an Operations Finance Business Analyst (6 months) to partner with 22 Plant Managers across 45 locations, driving cost control and performance insights. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting to support senior leadership decisions.

You will review capital projects, challenge spending, and translate financial data into actionable recommendations while collaborating with plant operations and capital accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly around costing and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration with plant managers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with 22 Plant Managers to understand costs, budgets, forecasts, and performance.
• Own annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for operating budgets around $48M-$52M; capital budgets $15M-$24M.
• Analyze trends and variances and provide recommendations to drive performance.
• Review and prioritize capital projects and ensure alignment with objectives.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and present to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and perform month-end journal entries.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-functional projects.
