THE ROLE:

We are expanding our Operations team and have an opening for an Operations Field Trainer based in Fort St. John, BC. In this role, you will support the Operations Capability Development Lead in implementing technical training and competency programs, ensuring competency assurance for the operations team.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
  • Support capability development by implementing training and competency programs for the field execution team.
  • Assist in curriculum development and facilitate training based on organizational needs and gaps.
  • Design and facilitate onboarding processes for new team members.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to the field team.
  • Support operational integrity by developing and applying technical standards, frameworks, practices, and procedures.
  • Conduct gap analyses, demonstrations, skill and knowledge verification, and task observations for competency assurance.
  • Report on training completion, competence verifications, and competency gaps.
  • Support competency initiatives across other teams such as HSE, Facilities, and Remote Operating Centre.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by championing safety initiatives and leading by example.
  • Align with PETRONAS's cultural values, beliefs, and operating philosophy in all capability development activities.
