Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail‑oriented Operations Expert responsible for supporting the efficiency and accuracy of our store’s back‑of‑house operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth daily processes by ensuring timely shipping and receiving of merchandise, fulfilling e‑commerce orders, executing stock replenishment, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting a clean, organized stockroom environment. The Operations Expert will own and execute the RTV (Return to Vendor) and tester processes, ensuring 100% compliance with weekly and monthly follow‑up requirements, adherence to tester budget expectations, and timely completion of all RTV activities, including vendor RTV submissions at month end. This role is also responsible for executing daily Front‑of‑House (FOH) returns, supporting planned cycle counts, maintaining price accuracy through ticketing and price changes, replenishing back‑of‑house supplies, and providing operational support across shipping, receiving, and e‑commerce functions as required. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Operations Expert will be trained to uphold operational excellence and maintain high standards of organization and accuracy throughout all back‑store functions.

Responsibilities
Inventory Management
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming merchandise shipments.
  • Unpack and organize products and ensure they are properly labeled and priced, according to company guidelines.
  • Perform regular inventory counts as well as monitor stock levels, reconciling discrepancies with the store’s inventory management system, and communicating with the store manager or purchasing department to reorder merchandise.
  • Fulfilling e‑commerce orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Execute daily Front‑of‑House (FOH) returns and ensure accurate inventory adjustments.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations as needed to maintain efficient inventory flow.
Store Operations
  • Restock and arrange merchandise (products, tools, and hygiene), inventory control, cleanliness/organization, and product allocation to ensure adequate stock levels at all times.
  • Execute price changes promptly and accurately according to company direction.
  • Ensure consistent price accuracy throughout the store by maintaining proper ticketing and signage for all products and testers.
  • Support e‑commerce operations during peak periods or as business needs require.
Back‑of‑House Support
  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and compliant stockroom environment to support smooth store operations.
  • Prepare products, testers, tools, and hygiene materials for the sales floor in alignment with company standards.
  • Own the tester process, ensuring all testers are properly tracked, maintained, replenished, and managed within approved budget parameters.
  • Complete all weekly and monthly tester process follow‑ups to ensure 100% compliance and budget adherence.
  • Manage and execute all RTV (Return to Vendor) processes, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation.
  • Complete monthly vendor RTV submissions and all associated follow‑up activities before the end of each month.
  • Ensure all merchandise is properly processed, tagged, and ready for allocation to the sales floor.
  • Manage and replenish all Back‑of‑House operational supplies to ensure uninterrupted store operations.
  • Support store teams by ensuring stock availability and timely replenishment.
Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to support operational priorities and workflow.
  • Assist in training new team members on receiving, processing, inventory handling, and RTV procedures.
  • Provide operational support during high‑volume periods through efficient stock processing and restocking.
Adherence to Policies
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, those related to safety and security.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, such as those related to client privacy and product handling.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends through training sessions and informational materials.
THE FIRST SIX MONTHS
Months 1 – 6
  • Complete training on all back‑store processes (shipping/receiving, e‑commerce fulfillment, RTV, tester management, cycle counting, inventory accuracy, pricing procedures, and stockroom standards).
  • Learn and apply merchandising support tasks related to product preparation, stockroom organization, sales floor replenishment, and pricing accuracy.
  • Achieve proficiency in operational accuracy, inventory procedures, RTV execution, tester budget management, and Back‑of‑House systems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to independently execute daily FOH returns, monthly vendor RTVs, planned cycle counts, and supply replenishment processes.
Skills And Experience You Will Need
  • 2 years in an operations job or similar position.
  • High school diploma.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ideally bilingual in French and English.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Solid organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling and product processing.
  • Basic math skills for inventory counts, RTV, and stock reconciliation.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 kg.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight.
