Job summary

Unifi Aviation Canada, Inc is seeking individuals to join our growing team who are passionate, have integrity, and empathize with how words and decisions affect employees, customers, and partners. The role focuses on the preparation and coordination of aircraft turnaround and ensuring on-time performance.

Responsibilities include coordinating turn-around duties, communicating load information, and maintaining safety and compliance throughout operations.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all applicable task on the checklist, ensuring accurate, timely and effective communication between the CLC and the Load Supervisor.
  • Coordinate all turnaround duties with a “can-do” attitude, ensuring effective planning, coordination and communication between all departments including flight and cabin crews.
  • Communicate all load information via required systems.
  • Ensure all required handling services, including any special handling, are planned, communicated, delivered and checked according to policy.
  • Information is verified against aircraft type, passenger load and baggage, cargo and other loads.
  • Perform all duties of the turn coordinator for the flight, ensuring stages of flight are completed safely and according to policy.
  • Drive on-time performance through effective planning and coordination, liaising with all stakeholders to communicate necessary information.

Job Summary:

Responsible for preparation and coordination of the aircraft turnaround, including timely, accurate and effective information exchange with CLC, handling personnel and applicable authorities, adherence to all aircraft loading requirements and the safe, secure, compliant and efficient delivery of all handling activities and on-time performance.

  • Flight Privileges: Offered after 30 days for employees and eligible family members!
  • Weekly pay for hourly employees (may vary specific to state regulations)

Job Duties:

  • Perform all duties of the turn coordinator for the flight.Ensure all stages of flight are completed safely and secure in accordance with all policy, procedures and regulations.Complete required paperwork
  • Drive on-time performance (OTP) through effective planning andcoordination, including identification,communication and resolution of factors that may impact OTP. Liaise effectively with all stakeholders to ensure communication of all necessary information for the operations and the guests.
  • Ensure all required documents are completed prior to departure.Paperwork filed as required.Departure load messages sent to downline station
  • Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.

Physical requirements:

  • Must be able to constantly lift up to 70lbs and more, push, pull, walk, stand, reach above shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, reach out, and grasp; and frequently climb, and crawl.
