Lafarge Canada is seeking an Operations Coordinator for new graduates to assist the Plant Manager in safety, quality control, and operational planning. The Operations Coordinator - New Graduate will provide assistance to the Plant Manager through field work, learning, development, and growth. The operations coordinator will participate in safety, coordination, and planning of the ongoing activities at various GVA plant operations to achieve business targets. Recent graduates from post-secondary institutions will be considered.
This opportunity is part of Lafarge’s New Graduate Development Path (NGDP). As part of the NGDP two-year journey, new graduates are provided with opportunities to connect with other new grads, gain exposure to various aspects of the Lafarge business, and embark on their own learning and development journey through e-learning and scheduled monthly Learning & Development sessions. The NGDP provides a head start for recently graduated individuals entering the workforce while fostering a strong sense of community within Lafarge.
Education: Recently obtained University Degree or College Diploma
Field of Study: Civil Engineering, Business, or related field
Experience: Up to 2 years of industry experience
Certifications: Construction Safety Officer (CSO)
Skills: Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Power BI (asset)
Travel: 0-10%
