Encore Canada is seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations in a hotel/convention center environment. You will plan short-term staffing, assist with scheduling/workforce management, and support technicians and sales staff both in the office and at events.
The role requires 5+ years in the audiovisual field, with preferred experience in staffing and scheduling. You will work across multiple hotel locations, ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
Operations Coordinators are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations. More specifically they plan short-term staffing, assist with scheduling/workforce management and support technicians and sales staff both in the office and at events.
Short-term staff planning
Work is performed in a hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members will use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components, and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based on an individual hotel or a representation of hotels in that city or area.
