Alopex Couriers is seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to coordinate the daily operations of our courier facility in Penticton and embody “The Alopex Way”. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to be an integral part of a fast-paced logistics team, ensuring the seamless delivery of services and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, who is based off-site, the Operations Coordinator will act as a critical link between the on-ground team and upper management, ensuring the highest standards of performance and customer satisfaction.
The Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficient and smooth facility operations. This includes overseeing clerical tasks, managing parcel and vehicle logistics, and maintaining a well-organized workspace that supports the flow of daily activities. In addition, this role involves close coordination with drivers, monitoring performance, addressing discrepancies, and troubleshooting operational issues as they arise. Through proactive planning and execution, the Operations Coordinator will contribute significantly to maintaining operational efficiency and upholding the company’s service standards.
A successful candidate for this role will be someone with a proactive mindset and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role requires collaborating with diverse teams, handling inquiries from stakeholders, and relaying critical information to the Operations Manager.
