Job Title: Area Operations Manager

Reporting To: District Operations Manager
Job Description:
We're on the lookout for an Area Operations Manager to join our team! You'll be responsible for maintaining current accounts and acquiring new ones within your territory. Additionally, you'll oversee daily operations, including supervising Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) and other reconditioning technicians. Your goal? Effective planning and maximizing profitability. Travel is required.
What You'll Do:
Sales:
- Maintain and grow business with existing customers and actively seek new business opportunities in your territory.
- Collaborate with the District Manager to plan and optimize technicians' schedules, helping them reach their earning potential and maximize territory profitability.
- Set monthly and annual sales goals with the District Manager and develop plans to achieve them.
- Support Hail Team operations during hail storms, focusing on dealerships and body shops with established relationships.
- Promote and sell PDR for Profit programs.
- Assist technicians in providing excellent customer service and maximizing billing on their routes.
Training:
- Coordinate new hire orientation to ensure smooth integration into the company and their assigned accounts.
- Hold monthly meetings with technicians to share sales tips and performance feedback.
- Ensure technicians receive the necessary support and training to improve their PDR skills.
- Arrange advanced training sessions for technicians.
People Management:
- Lead and mentor technicians, maintaining daily contact through calls and in-person meetings to address concerns and performance issues.
- Coordinate with the District Manager to ensure appropriate staffing levels for current and upcoming business opportunities.
- Proactively address employee performance issues.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and develop improvement plans.
- Complete administrative tasks such as invoicing and daily call-in reporting on time.
- Manage tool inventory within your territory.
- Handle requests for mobile retail PDR services by scheduling appointments between customers and technicians.

- Proven ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Experience in account management and/or sales in a service-based company is preferred.
- Automotive service experience is a plus.
