About You:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or Community College Diploma focused on investments or accounting.
  • You possess an inquisitive mindset, problem-solving skills, and a drive to learn.
  • You have knowledge of or interest in financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, options, futures, forwards, swaps, etc.
  • Experience in a professional, deadline-driven environment is a plus.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in advanced formulas, data analysis, and macros being an asset.
  • You have good English communication skills.

Your Role:

  • Engage directly with clients, auditors, third-party stakeholders, and internal teams such as Reconciliations, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve issues in third-party reconciliations, maintaining portfolio accuracy and capturing residual risks.
  • Understand the reconciliation process fundamentals.
  • Proactively resolve discrepancies with brokers and counterparties by liaising with clients and third parties.
  • Perform control procedures for month-end signoff packages supporting positions, trades, and cash.
  • Understand financial instruments to verify security setups and ensure proper P&L and risk reporting.
  • Collaborate and share best practices with peers.
  • Support new business launches or conversions.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements of operational systems and controls.
