Qualifications

  • 2+ years of financial management experience.
  • Eligible/enrolled in CPA PREP.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Operations Analyst will serve as the “Finance Business Partner” for the Southern Alberta Market. Responsibilities include coordinating and preparing accurate monthly reports, forecasts, budgets, capital and financial information. The role ensures accurate financial reporting and enhances understanding of key business drivers to maximize results.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Health and Safety: Commit to safety policies, maintain knowledge of safety regulations, and promote a safety culture.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Collaborate on month-end close, cost allocations, accruals, and P&L reviews.
  • Monthly & Internal Reporting: Prepare reports for management, reconcile accounts, and develop internal reports for managers and operations.
  • Forecast and Budgets: Create forecasts, coordinate submissions, develop budgets, and analyze variances.
  • Mobile Fleet & Maintenance Reporting: Generate fleet maintenance reports, analyze costs, and prepare schedules.
  • Audits & Internal Control: Respond to audits, oversee internal controls, manage documentation, and ensure compliance.
  • Training and Standardization: Provide financial training and promote process standardization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with service centers, support process improvements, and drive system enhancements.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • 2+ years of financial management experience
  • Eligible/enrolled in CPA PREP
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SAP, BPC
  • Travel requirement: 10%
