Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking a Solution Architect-Operational Technology (OT) for an onsite, 12-month contract in Calgary. The role focuses on OT architecture, industrial systems design, and alignment with enterprise IT and operational needs.

You'll work with frameworks, roadmaps, and vendor ecosystems (AVEVA, Rockwell, Emerson) to create architecture diagrams and technical specifications. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in OT/ICS/SCADA, strong governance and compliance knowledge, and applicable TOGAF

• Experience with OT architecture frameworks and governance.
• Hands-on OT platforms and vendor ecosystems knowledge.

Pay Rate: CAD 78-82/hour Incorporated

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 10+ years of experience in Operational Technology (OT) architecture Industrial systems Infrastructure design
• Strong expertise in OT architecture frameworks: Design Patterns, Reference Architectures, Decision Trees, Technology Standards
• Hands-on experience with OT platforms and vendor ecosystems: AVEVA, Rockwell Automation, Emerson
• Deep understanding of: Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA systems, IIoT environments
• Experience designing and optimizing OT solutions aligned with enterprise IT and operational needs
• Strong knowledge of: Architecture governance models, Compliance frameworks, Industry best practices
• Experience creating: Architecture diagrams, Technical specifications, Roadmaps and solution blueprints
• Certifications: TOGAF (preferred), ISA/IEC certifications (good-to-have), OT/ICS security certifications
