A leading staffing agency is seeking Operational Technicians for a long-term assignment in a pharmaceutical production facility in Mississauga. The role involves working rotating shifts primarily during the day and afternoons, with responsibilities including operating production equipment, adhering to GMP standards, and performing maintenance tasks. We are currently hiring for Operational Technicians for leading Pharmaceutical Health Care Company in Mississauga!
Location: Mississauga, ON
The assignment is considered long term with potential of full time hire directly with company!
We are looking for an individual comfortable working in a production, pharmaceutical facility.
Shifts will be rotational - Must be able to work all 3 shifts:, but it will be mostly days and some afternoons for now.
Day - 7am to 3:30pm
Afternoon - 3pm to 11:30pm
Night - 11pm to 7:30am
Starting Pay rate $19 per hour and potential for increase after training!

Responsibilities
The Op tech will work in the in production area
Other responsibilities include and vary as needed:
- lifting required up to 40lbs
- Operation and maintenance of production equipment and area modifications according to GMP, safety and quality standards.
- Perform all packaging/process activities
- Operate, maintain and adjust process equipment according to established procedures
- Lead the mechanical changeover of equipment according to established procedures
- Participate in the preparation and completion of all documentation applicable to production
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Clean equipment, rooms and general areas for production use
- Write and/or revise SOPs for new equipment and/or processes
- Perform related computer tasks: SAP, IMS
- Trouble-shoot equipment and process related issues
- Work in other Manufacturing/Packaging areas as required
Training will be provided as required!
Qualifications
To work as Op Tech must have the following qualifications:
- Highschool diploma
- Ability to work the rotating shifts
- Strong attention to detail
- Overall good attitude; team player
- Some Job-Related Experience
- proven Technical Competency
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-managed team player, experienced in working with teams in a production environment
- Handy, can use tools
- Good for someone starting out in career and looking for experience in pharma
