Job summary

CameleonHR is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for our client CCNuclear in Paisley, Ontario. You will oversee daily operations, lead multidisciplinary teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

You will report to the Business Unit Manager and play a key role in strategic initiatives, budgeting oversight, and operational excellence in a highly specialized nuclear industry environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive operational leadership experience.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, nuclear, construction, or utilities environments.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience managing operational budgets, resources, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations to ensure efficient execution while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to ensure operational success.
  • Prepare management reports and recommend strategies to support growth.

  • Collaborate closely with customers, business partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure operational success.
  • Analyze operational performance, prepare management reports, and recommend strategies that support business growth.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives alongside senior leadership.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive operational leadership experience.
  • Experience within industrial, manufacturing, energy, nuclear, construction, utilities, or related environments.
  • Proven success managing multidisciplinary teams and complex operational environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and drive operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience managing operational budgets, resources, and performance metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
