Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade twelve (12) required.
• Completion of a Sterile Supply Processing course is necessary.
• Three years of recent, related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Controls inventory content and levels of OR equipment and supplies.
• Conducts regular physical checks on inventory levels.
• Completes requisitions for OR supplies and equipment.
• Liaises with external sales representatives for orders.
• Reviews OR slate validation reports for necessary equipment.
• Assists in picking supplies for surgical cases.
• Rotates stock and reprocesses outdated supplies.
• Maintains relevant documentation and processes.
• Participates in Quality Assurance Program.
• Creates and maintains OR Doctors Preference Cards.
