We are seeking a highly skilled OpenText Exstream Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend/API development with a strong emphasis on OpenText Exstream. This role requires a deep understanding of document composition and customer communication management solutions, as well as the ability to design and implement robust backend systems that integrate seamlessly with various APIs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using OpenText Exstream to support document generation and customer communication processes.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement and optimize backend services and APIs to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to OpenText Exstream and backend development.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in OpenText Exstream, including document design, template creation, and output management.
• Proficient in backend development languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their integration with OpenText Exstream.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of additional document management systems and customer communication tools.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in backend/API development, with a focus on OpenText Exstream.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.
• Relevant certifications in OpenText Exstream or related technologies are a plus.

Salary:

Fulltime: The pay range for this role is CAD$100,000 - CA$120,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Tech Mahindra also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law). The exact offer terms will depend on the skill level, educational qualifications, experience and location of the candidate.
