Job summary

Cpus Engineering Staffing Solutions Inc. in Pickering, Ontario seeks a Work Control Team Lead to plan, coordinate and supervise scheduling across multiple units in a nuclear facility. You will ensure prioritization of resources and adherence to safety procedures while coordinating with maintenance teams.

Ideal candidates have strong English communication, experience in multi-unit nuclear environments, and familiarity with operating policies and radiation protection requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of control, mechanical or civil technology and fundamentals of physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, electrical theory, instrumentation, mechanics, nuclear theory and mathematics to plan, coordinate and prioritize work.
• Requires strong English communication skills, typically gained through Grade XII plus three years of study or equivalent.
• Experience with multi-unit nuclear facility operations, maintenance and energy production.
• Familiarity with operating policies, procedures, safety procedures including radiation protection and conventional safety practices.

Qualifications

• Requires a knowledge of control, mechanical or civil technology including sciences subject fundamentals of physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, electrical theory, instrumentation, mechanics, nuclear theory and mathematics to understand the application to processes and systems, and effectively plan, coordinate and exercise judgement to determine priorities and ensure resources to facilitat3e scheduling of work activities within assigned work sheets.
• Requires a good knowledge of English, both oral and written, to carry out effective communications with others. This knowledge is considered to be normally acquired either through the successful completion of Grade XII in Secondary school plus three years further concentrated study in an appropriate discipline or by having the equivalent level of education.
• Requires practical experience associated with a multi-unit nuclear facility to become thoroughly familiar with systems, equipment, components and processes related to the maintenance and production of energy.
