Qualifikationen

• Three-year College Diploma in Human Services or a related field.
• Minimum four to five years progressive management experience within municipal/government or private agency.
• Strong working knowledge of Ontario Works, Children’s Services, and Housing Services Programs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Solid organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Discretion and sound judgement in problem-solving and decision making.
• Superior interpersonal and leadership skills for supervising in a unionized environment.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to development and implementation of strategies for Ontario Works programs and services.
• Collaborate with partners to deliver effective service delivery.
• Participate in service planning, development, and operational success as a management team member.
• Provide advice and support to the Ontario Works Manager.
• Provide managerial guidance and performance feedback to direct reports.
• Develop staff goals and coaching plans.
• Foster teamwork and monitor key performance indicators and client service standards.
• Ensure consistent interpretation of directives and policies by staff.
• Coordinate training initiatives and assist in resolving client issues.
• Assist in budget and service plan preparation and reporting.
