Job summary

Dalcon Constructors Ltd in North Bay, Ontario, invites experienced Journeyperson and Apprentice Millwrights to join our field teams on Eastern and Northern Ontario projects.

We offer a base wage of $44.13 per hour under the applicable Collective Agreement, with schedules that may include 5/2, 10/4 or 14/7, and daily/rotational travel allowances for qualifying workers. Overtime may be required and reliable transportation is a must.

Qualifications

• Municipal water/wastewater experience.
• Live plant experience.
• Hoisting and rigging experience.
• Experience with rotating equipment.
• Experience with equipment installations.
• Able to wear a personal respirator when required.
• Work in a team or alone.
• Safety conscious and adherence to safety policies.
• Meeting qualification and training requirements for specific work conditions.
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Experience working on a mine site.

Responsibilities

• Having municipal water/wastewater experience and live plant experience.
• Having hoisting and rigging experience.
• Having experience working with rotating equipment.
• Experience with equipment installations.
• Being able to wear a personal respirator when required.
• Being able to work in a team or alone.
• Taking direction and following established work processes.
• Being safety conscious and adhering to all Dalcon safety processes and policies.
• Meeting qualification and training requirements based on specific work conditions.
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Having experience working on a mine site.
• Having experience operating construction equipment (i.e., telehandler) will be considered an asset.
