Job summary

Dalcon Constructors Ltd is seeking Journeyperson and Apprentice Millwrights for projects across Eastern and Northern Ontario, including the Cobalt area. Base wage starts at $44.13/hour as per the Collective Agreement, with schedules varying (5/2, 10/4, or 14/7) and travel allowances for qualified individuals.

Must have reliable transportation and be prepared for overtime as needed. Ideal candidates will have municipal water/wastewater and live plant experience, plus hoisting, rigging, and

Qualifications

• Journeyperson or Apprentice Millwright experience required.
• Municipal water/wastewater site experience advantageous.
• Live plant experience preferred.
• Hoisting, rigging and rotating equipment familiarity.
• Ability to wear a respirator when required.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Commitment to Dalcon safety processes and policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform millwright duties on site across Eastern and Northern Ontario.
• Utilize hoisting and rigging skills for equipment installations.
• Work with rotating equipment and water/wastewater systems.
• Follow established work processes and directions from supervision.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on mine site projects.

Dalcon Constructors Ltd is seeking experienced Journeyperson and Apprentice Millwrights for multiple projects across Eastern, and Northern Ontario

Work Conditions & Remuneration:

• Journeyperson base wage: $44.13, as per the Collective Agreement
• Schedule: can vary from 5/2, 10/4, or 14/7
• Daily and rotational travel allowances available for those who qualify
• Must have reliable transportation
• Overtime may be required

As a Millwright for Dalcon Constructors Ltd, you will contribute to our team by:

• Having municipal water/wastewater experience and live plant experience
• Having hoisting and rigging experience
• Having experience working with rotating equipment
• Experience with equipment installations
• Being able to wear a personal respirator when required
• Being able to work in a team or alone
• Taking direction and following established work processes
• Being safety conscious and adhering to all Dalcon safety processes and policies
• Meeting qualification and training requirements based on specific work conditions
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Having experience working on a mine site
• Having experience operating construction equipment (i.e., telehandler), will be considered an asset
• Strength to perform average lifting of up to 50 pounds, from the ground to above head
• Other qualifications may be required
