Qualifikationen

• A relevant Diploma/Degree or a combination of practical work experience and education.
• 2-5 years of enterprise IT experience in an enterprise computing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the operation of LAN and WAN environment.
• A broad knowledge of IT and business processes required in support of enterprise application delivery environments.
• Background in SNMP, HTTP, VLANs, Internet security software, VoIP, databases, email and web servers.
• Previous experience with point to multipoint wireless networks and/or VSAT networks with an ISP would be an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and support operation of Fixed Wireless, Fibre to the Premise, Satellite and IP devices.
• Provide 3rd level technical support for Tier 2 unresolved technical issues.
• Act as technical liaison between Engineering, Network Operations and Field Operations.
• Maintain network elements and perform proactive analysis of network statistics.
• Handle emergency escalations in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Ensure appropriate standards are adhered to when communicating with customers.
• Monitor network alarms and determine root cause of failure.
