Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to join the Workplace Health & Safety team in Ontario. You will provide first aid, guide associates on injuries, and refer complex cases to external providers while learning OSHA regulations and risk analysis.

You will work with the WHS site manager and specialists, participate in safety committee meetings, and support daily health initiatives, with flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma
• CPR course
• Valid card evidencing successful completion of a first aid, CPR, and AED course
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
• Ontario requirements: WSIB-certified first aid with CPR/AED level A or C; PCP, or RN/RPN licensing as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed
• Minimize injury risk through education and engagement
• Maintain records of care provided to associates
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs
• Maintain daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
• Coaching on safe work habits with leadership on the operations floor
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean environment
• Support first aid, CPR and AED training sessions and certifications
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, weekends
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols
• Respond to emergencies and support on-site emergency response
